With a newfound awareness of her body, Charity also began to focus on her diet.
Most importantly, she allowed herself to be intuitive- to this day, she only occasionally goes back to counting the calories and nutritional values of her food.
“When I feel like I need structure, I track my food for a while until I feel I can successfully eat mindfully and consciously from my gut again.”
And she follows up, “Overall, I’ve found that not restricting myself and allowing myself to eat what I want helps me.”
