7. Exercise is Not Required for Weight Loss

I lost over 80 kg without ever stepping foot in a gym. While exercise provides tremendous health benefits, it is not required for weight loss. Diet changes alone can lead to dramatic fat loss.

I focused my energy on changing my eating habits and found other ways to increase daily movement like parking farther away, taking the stairs, etc. As I lost weight, exercise became easier and more appealing.

Don’t let lack of exercise be an excuse not to improve your diet. You can worry about adding formal workouts later. Dietary changes should come first for meaningful and sustainable weight loss.
