Kneeling lunge with arms overhead

Stand up straight, stretch your arms overhead as if you are about to jump into a pool, and lunge forward with your left leg. 

Your left knee is directly over your left ankle. Your right knee is on the floor. The toes of your right foot point away from your body. In this position, stretch upward with both arms as far as you can. 

Press your right ankle into the floor and squeeze the muscles in your right buttock.

Touch the floor with your left hand. Your right arm should point upwards. 

You should feel a stretch on the entire right side of your body. 

Hold this position for 6 seconds and return to the starting position

and relax for one second. Repeat the exercise a total of 6 times and then switch sides.

Next
