6. Plan ahead
Planning ahead and being organized makes intermittent fasting and dieting in general much easier because you don’t have to make a bunch of little decisions every day. You can just get on with your schedule.
For example, most people need to figure out what to eat, when to eat it, when to shop, when to cook, if it fits their goals, etc.
Helpful tips for creating your routine:
- Starting and ending your fast at the same time each day
- Eating the same (or similar) things for each meal every day
- Writing a shopping list and only buying what is on it
- Take time each Sunday to cook your meal for the week
