3. Water with baking soda
When fasting, you should pay attention to your fluid balance and drink a lot. With longer fasting intervals, you’ll lose fat and valuable minerals that the body needs to function.
A glass of water with some baking soda can help – the baking soda consists of 100% sodium hydrogen carbonate, so is it identical to most electrolyte mixtures from the pharmacy. So you do not lose any vital salts during the fasting, and your feeling of hunger decreases noticeably.
It has a particularly tart taste – water with baking soda is unfortunately only bearable in small doses and is not suitable as a drink for the entire day.
