17. Change your habits, but slowly
Rome wasn’t built in a day. The same is true for a strong and healthy body.
Many make the mistake of putting all their eggs in one basket right away. They empty their fridge and fill it exclusively with healthy foods. Then, they create a tight workout schedule and resolve to work out at 6 am.
However, extremes only lead to frustration and a sense of failure, and people quickly give up. Therefore, it is important to start in small steps.
You can change habits, establish them over time, and eventually, they will become routine. Examples: Eat fruit for dessert, take a 15-minute walk during your lunch break, replace certain carbohydrate sources with nutritious protein sources at breakfast.
Small changes will make you feel healthier, which will motivate you to make more positive changes, and soon you will feel the effects.
