19. You can eat diet products without worrying
Some diet products have deceptive packaging. For example, they may contain significantly more sugar than conventional products. And as we said before, not all calories are the same.
Besides, artificial sweeteners can lead to real cravings because they affect insulin levels.
And because of the lack of consistency or taste, they use additives such as gelatine, egg whites, swelling agents, or emulsifiers. These can again contain hidden calories.
